Here are two books to consider purchasing to help you deal with that challenge successfully: Platform: Get Noticed in a Noisy World by Michael Hyatt and Your Guide to Marketing Books in the Christian Marketplace, Second Edition by Sara Bolme.
Platform: Get Noticed in a Noisy World by Michael Hyatt. Your Guide to Marketing Books in the Christian Marketplace, Second Edition by Sarah Bolme. Sarah Bolme offers a wealth of information about marketing your book. Though many of the pointers are directed to publishers, if you are self-publishing, you are the publisher!
Two things I especially appreciate about this book:
- (1) It is aimed at the Christian marketplace.
- (2) It is not just theory. It is hands-on, nuts and bolts information providing an abundance of helpful website addresses, addresses, and phone numbers.
